Not so bad

Forget the apocalypse, London has a bigger problem.
Snow.
No doubt anyone who's anyone in London is panicking right now, 3mm of snow? HOW WILL WE FUNCTION CALL RUSSIA AND ASK THEM HOW TO DEAL WITH THIS WHITE HELL.
Flights will be cancelled, cars will be stranded, people will be cold. Suddenly the idea of 2012 never seemed all that bad.  But just for a few moments, I decided to forget about how hard it's going to be to get around town this weekend, and frolick in the snow. I do find it odd that despite the fact it happens at least once a year, London still has not grasped the idea of how to deal with snow.
Get over it London, shit happens.

  15. Haha, it's the same in Istanbul. Each year we maybe get 3 days of snow, mild snow... and everything collapses. The traffic, everything. It's just snow afteer all, what's the so big deal?! :)

  22. :):):):) Love this post and idea of consulting Russians for help. :):):):) As one of them I smiled as soon as I stepped outside today. Me and the dog are loving the snow, but everyone seems to be panicking even when it comes to wardrobe choices - let alone living the life... Oh well... Snow happens, might as well learn to get on with it and enjoy these beautiful days.

  25. Hahah! I KNOW. Britain just flails around every time. Went to the cinema today - all trains delayed by half an hour, several cancelled. Yay 'first' capital connect.

    You're braver than me. I feel such a wuss for keeping my big gloves on in my outfit pictures in the snow. I hid away my nails, but yours look great. Really like the slightly different tones. I need to build up great tolerance levels for cold myself.

  26. London is beautiful in the snow. As magical as New York and Paris. Except when snow becomes dirt slush, that's disgusting haha Anywayyy, you look great and one can totally believe you are not freezing, though if it were me, I'd have a congealed ass :p

  54. As crazy as you may think I sound, I'm so jealous of all the snow you've got over there in London!
    Where I'm from (perpetually sunny Southern California), we dream of snow days. Looks like you guys have definitely got that right now (or technically when you posted these photos)!
    The outfit you have on is both stylish and sensible (gasp! the horror!), making it perfect for such weather. That jacket is super mega perfect and looks uber luxe with the furry stole on top. Black jeans (or leggings?) complete the all black look, which is then broken up by your cool white hightops. Funky bright nails add a nice pop while cool silvery rings add an element of sleekness to everything. Then there's that beanie that is the crowning glory of the outfit. Soft delicious baby green? I don't know what to call it but it is oh so delightful and just the right amount of innocent sweetness to top off such a blacked out look.
