29 December 2013

Well, it's been good..

It's been sweet 2013, I think.
I've never been one to judge a year by it's events, for me NYE is just an excuse to party. Resolutions are somewhat useless, the best ones being made at any time that isn't New Years. Though, it is worth reflecting on the events of 2013.
I was lucky enough to have visited Marrakech, The Caribbean, Barcelona, Copenhagen, San Fransisco, Seattle and more. I've had the pleasure of working with Samsung on a campaign and finally upgrading to my dream camera the Canon 5D MKII. I did exams, I passed exams and I've got university offers. I made new friends, found old friends and saw one brother off to university while the other graduated with a first.
I watched a lot of rom-coms, remained single and didn't get pregnant.
I feel completely ready for what 2014 brings, and fulfilling my resolution of not making resolutions, but seizing every day like it's my last because knowing my coordination skills, it may well be. Carpe that Diem like you would Carpe chocolate coated male models.
This blog has been at the center of all of this, it's been my outlet and my diary. Into The Fold changes as I do, and has become even more a part of my life in the last 12 months than I could ever have imagined.
Finally, here's to you guys; the support, constructive criticism and kindnesses you send my way is overwhelming.
You're all my soul-penguins, and consider this just the beginning.

  17. Can I just say how amazing you are, you're seriously such a talent and tasteful girl and at SUCH a young age, I remember when you just turned 16 and I was thinking omg how is this girl so CHIC, is it the danish thing? hahaa. and also from London like me! I like the thought that goes behind your writing, a literally genius, a bit of man-repeller mix anne frank (without the sadness) with feminism knowledge and kickass coats and sneakers for her famous day luxe looks (no heels for me too please). LOVE! Wishing you a provocative NEW YEAR AHEAD!

Hey you! How are you today? Your hair looks awesome like that. Thanks for taking the time to comment, I love hearing what you guys think and value every word you write more than you could possibly imagine. With that in mind, I value your constructive criticism too; if you disagree with something I've said, if you think I could have mentioned something else or if you want me to discuss something in the future, I want to know. However, there is a clear difference between constructive criticism and rudeness; the latter will be receive a meet and greet from my delete button. I will find you, and I will lick you; no one wants that, so play nice.
