Life's a beach

TOPSHOP kaftan, VINTAGE bag, RAY-BAN sunglasses (c/o), H&M bikini

Above you can see a Camilla, in her natural habitat, clinging onto the beach for dear life.
As much as I am secretly looking forward to being reunited with my beloved turtlenecks, I am much less excited about trying to squeeze into jeans. I eat fairly healthy in London and I work out usually 5 or 6 days a week, so when I'm on holiday I try not to worry about enjoying desserts and smoothies (especially because I pretty much eat fish/ chicken otherwise). Sadly, three weeks of desserts, late nights and Pina Coladas will catch up with you.
I'm considering trying a bit of a juice detox when I'm back just to clear all the festive foods out of my booty, although last time I did that I just drank the fruit juices and avoided the spinach like herpes.

  2. Wow, 5 or 6 days a week? Impressive :)

I'm still trying to get into a once a week training schedule haha. My body WILL take revenge on me in a few years for it, I just know it.

    And gorgeous photo. x

  5. I couldn't agree more, a beach is definitely my natural habitat as well and your outfit being the perfect beach wear and the photo is so lovely of you, I just love how it looks :) A juice detox also sounds like a good idea to me, but I'd be worried I'd be left feeling hungry!

  21. Completely obsessed with your ray bans. Good luck juice cleansing, i've found that adding a lot of apple or orange to the green ones makes them much tastier.

  25. *David Attenborough voice* As the Camilla prepares herself to return to her natural habitat, she takes time to enjoy the last rays of sunlight, for when she sets foot in England, sunlight will be something she will encounter only in late August.

Welcome back to the rain ! Forget using an umbrella because the winds are making it rain sideways !

  27. That top photo is all kinds of beautiful. I'm glad you can be reunited with your turtlenecks but I'll miss your Caribbean adventures on Instagram.

I've been doing a post-Christmas smoothie detox which is working quite well. I'm not sure if it's REALLY a detox but I'm basically substituting my lunches for smoothies which consist of some frozen berries, milk, yoghurt and half a banana. Way more filling and satisfying than just juice I think.

Hey you! How are you today? Your hair looks awesome like that. Thanks for taking the time to comment, I love hearing what you guys think and value every word you write more than you could possibly imagine. With that in mind, I value your constructive criticism too; if you disagree with something I've said, if you think I could have mentioned something else or if you want me to discuss something in the future, I want to know. However, there is a clear difference between constructive criticism and rudeness; the latter will be receive a meet and greet from my delete button. I will find you, and I will lick you; no one wants that, so play nice.
