Look mom, color! Ok, it's navy, but that counts right?
If I actually abided by that whole no black and navy rule, every day would be a sartorial rendition of (my favorite) 80's hit Black Velvet...minus the velvet, sadly.
I'm yet to get a psychiatrist to analyze my recently developed (honestly I used to be the human equivalent of a double rainbow) obsession with dark colors, not so much because I'm worried about what they might find but because I'm not sure it's such a problem. Something about black and navy just make you feel more powerful, and surely that can't be a bad thing. And by power I don't mean physical, seriously I have the upper body strength of a fly, I can barely life a fork. I mean that confidence that makes you feel oddly unbeatable, somewhere between an elephant and Trinity from The Matrix.
Heck maybe I am Trinity and this is The Matrix, maybe I'm actually wearing bright red. Who knows? Life's a puzzle.
