I'm so wearing stripes and spots, got a problem? come at me bro.

These were taken here in Singapore, my friend here took me shopping on Orchard Road and we spent a good 3 hours in the 4 story Forever 21- I bought quite a few things that will be popping up in the next couple posts, they're summery clothes so I'm not going to be wearing them back in London, the phrase 'no pain no gain' stops at Hypothermia ok. I also bought some cute bracelets in a little shop my friend showed me near her house, there's a little arm party on my wrist...maybe more like an arm rave because of the bright colors, but potato potaaahto.

Off to Bangkok in a couple days, I apologize if I make no sense at some points, me and time differences don't get on, I'm actually not sure what time it even is in London...which is probably for the best.

My mum said there was no way in hell she would take me out in the snow for a walk, and to take some photos unless I put some waterproof trousers on. As any self respecting person would, I interpreted that as loosely as possible and slipped on my new faux leather leggings from Zara. I concur, they really are waterproof. The snow was melting, my hair got soaked from it falling off the trees above, my jumper was rather damp and my toes were freezing- but my legs were bone dry.
Faux leggings - 1, Common sense - 0.
Anyway, I'm going to go make snow angels because naturally the snow will melt before Monday, meaning no snow-day on the day my Physics coursework is due.
Funny how inconvenient that is...not.
Living in London I don't think I ever thought I'd say the word snow so much in one post.

It had been too long since I'd worn wedges in any form, so I naturally decided to wear my biggest, favoritest ones out. I'm much too hardcore for kitten heels.

I got sent this skirt by Romwe, who continue to impress me. The skirt is a perfect fit and actually looks like real leather- after missing out on the Zara original this is an ideal substitute. I feel like some sort of school librarian gone rebz, just riding my Harley motor bike down Route 66, because I just don't care...

I get a bit carried away when wearing leather...

I've been getting my Mock Gcse exam results back, and I'm ecstatic- but even more excitingly (I know, can you even handle any more excitement? hold onto your hats) THAILAND IN TWO WEEKS. I'll let you guys know all the details (not flight numbers, duh, I don't want to get followed) about where in Asia I'll be because we're going to a few different places.

There are many things I love about london, one of which has to be the fact I can walk around Knightsbridge doing my best impersonation of a Rasberry, by wearing monochrome, and not one eyelid is batted. I think these jeans were made for me.
My exams are done, and to celebrate I spent all Saturday in bed watching the entire first series of New Girl, and then went up to Knightsbridge today to look at all the things I can't buy because I'm saving for Thailand- you might think that sounds dull, but I like to be surrounded by the pretty clothes. I'm easily entertained.
I hope you all have a lovely week, I'm going to have to start getting used to 8 hour days at school again so I don't space out and find myself shopping when I'm supposed to be at school.
Man, study leave was so fun.

Vintage dress and Tk Maxx chair

This chair is absolutely stellar, I have no idea what stellar means but since people keep inventing these words I figure I may aswell use them, it's the decent thing to do really.

I rarely do self photos like these, but I thought someone may be freaked out if I asked "hey, wanna take pictures of me in a chair?..it's a really cool chair.." so I just whipped out my old camera remote. I also wanted to give you guys a preview of this vintage dress I scored, I just have to shorten the hem and I'll be wearing it loads, I can just tell. My exams finish today! Just two more, and then I have a super busy weekend so expect some proper outfit photos outside!

I went out in my study leave today and bought a 35mm lens for my new camera, I really need to stop going shopping in my study time. Anyway, these were taken on it and isn't it a beauty! the bokeh and depth of focus are amazing- this lens is definitely going to be my new companion, sidekick, amigo.

I tried filming a 'what's in my bag' video earlier, but I kept swearing not on purpose when describing things- after I get a swear jar, and sort out my habits, I will refilm and post it up.

Also- I bought a chair! yay chairs are fun, photos soon.

Some quick snapshots of my life lately (and one stray photo from Paris..). Study leave means the weekend doesn't feel like the weekend at all, and I'm in full bore work mode. Between deciding whether to get a 50mm 1.8 lens for my new Nikon (help would be muchos apreciated) and pretending to revise, I feel very sleepy...it could be jetlag, maybe I got bitten by a Tse Tse fly... who knows

But amongst all this, I had time to ask myself- facebook, twitter, blogger, tumblr, and now instagram...what social networking site am I not on?

Only a few days left in the caribbean before I head back to London, and back to school with a warm welcome of two weeks of exams- oh school, you know how to bring a smile to my face.

If all goes according to plan regarding the selling of my current camera, I will have my new one in the next couple weeks. Are you crying? tears of joy? yes, me too. Except you guys are probably crying because I'm talking about the camera again, oh well, potato potaahto.

A New Year

I don't see the point in New years resolutions, because the odds are you'll get so utterly plastered you won't even remember swearing never to drink again. So this year I decided to make some
ones that I think are slightly more achievable than not eating chocolate...

befriending a whale
visiting the moon
buying more shoes
eating more chocolate
taking more pictures of food
eating the food I take pictures of
not eating the pictures, obviously
getting the Nikon D7000 (ok I'll shut up about that now)
not shutting up about the D7000 until I own it (I lied above, i'm sorry)

So there you have it, I think 2012 will be a successful year (based on the obvious fact I just used brackets, I'm eating chocolate, I'm an astronaut and I speak whale).

But oh 2011, you will be missed. I'm sorry I couldn't come up with a better, more witty title for your last post on this here internet space. Sure, I live my evenings like every day will be a new year, but tonight- we party with swag that even your grandma can't beat.

Well my grandma can, obviously, because she's related to me, duhz.

And look, 2012 will be so good it already has a movie named after it- okay yes, it's about the predicted apocalypse, but please- stop being so negative! It's NYE, the big new years- have you got your sequins on? Good. Are you wearing a Santa hat? Yes? Take it off- Christmas is over buddy.

But most importantly, without you guys I would literally have been talking to myself for the past two and a half years, and that would have been awkward. So thank you.

I do love this tunic, the color, shape, everythaaang- but unfortunately my legs are growing at a faster pace than the length of this dress (namely because fabric can't grow..) so I don't know for how much longer I can pretend flashing is a trend I indulge when the wind blows this baby all the way up to my face.

Lover to Lover

I have a thing for little bridges, I can't really explain it, but let's just say I want so many little random bridges in my future home- heck, I may as well just live under one and reinact '3 billy goats gruff' on a daily basis.
Christmas was amazing, I got some pretty amazing presents, like speakers, about 5 fashion books, crimson waxed skinnies (omgdayz so cool) and some cute shoes- I also got money towards my new Camera- I'm only about £150 away now (after ive sold my old nikon and stuff on ebay) ! I might just like sell my family on ebay or something to get the rest of the money because I'm so excited.

It's so weird that in a few days it's going to be 2012, it feels so futuristic- I half expect a spaceship to fly by me any second or for someone to invent talking phones...oh wait, that did happen. I've been hanging out with Siri on my dad's iphone 4s too much. The American Siri is so much better than the British one, the American one is like your best friends really cool mom who provides drinks at parties- the British one is the man you ask for directions, and he points you towards his ''white van with puppies in it''.
I'll keep you posted, I'm not going back to London for just under two weeks so I should really go get my tanning on.

Merry Christmas!
I hope you all have a wonderful couple days. Normally I would celebrate tonight (Christmas Eve) because that's how we roll in Denmark (well, Scandinavia in general...and parts of Europe...and apparently parts of South America too?) - but one of my brothers doesn't arrive until tonight so we're waiting until the eve of the 25th.
I think maybe it's good that I'm away from London this, having never grown up with a belief in Santa, I tend to unintentionally tell small children he doesn't exist- conversations that go something like this-
me: I just emailed my mom my wishlist yesterday
toddlers mom: *look of sheer panic*
me: ...so she can forward it to Santa!- duhz.
(That's what I call a good cover up.)

New obsessions

AA nail polish in Neon Violet, ring c/o beginning boutique and fake Prada sunglasses.

So I'm in the Caribbean now, I'll show you what I picked up over my few days in Miami...

Let's start with the sunglasses- Finding sunglasses larger than my face is a challenge I willingly accept, it's only happened twice people. I would happily spend the $180 on a pair of real Prada sunglasses, but alas, I do not have such money simply lying around-oh, and I live in England (just like santa, the sun only comes once a year.). So the blatant copies of these that I picked up in Coconut Grove are you know, awesome.

I also picked up 3 different nail polishes in Miami, this neon number was by far my favorite because ~~I'm attracted to bright colors~~ I've been craving neon nails for months now- and purple is a little bit more unexpected than yellow or orange (not that I don't intend on getting those next...). I also picked up a pinky color by Essie and 'Matte about you' topcoat by Essie- which is the coolest thing since scrambled eggs. I'll take a picture of my matte nails for the next post.

Last but not least, the most beautiful crystal ring ever seen, sent to me by the amazing girlies over at Beginning Boutique- go check out their stuff, they have some amazing dresses from gorgeous Aussie brands, and the shipping is so well priced it ain't even funny.

I was on Regent Street this afternoon, for an early dinner and to look at the christmas lights (and to show off my new shoes! thanks Anjelica for hosting the competition which I won them through). I felt very festive in this outfit, walking along munching on gingerbread men and refraining from stealing the entire H&M trend collection from their flagship store, must be christmas.

Why do all my jokes revolve around me stealing clothes? ~~I'm such a brilliant internet role model mothers!~~.. Maybe this is why I never get asked to babysit kids?

I'm going to go revise something like calculus (read: I'm going to go eat more gingerbread) to show my good role modelness. ~~Chocolate~~ education is the way to my heart.

These photos are about 3 months old, and I by mistake lost them the day I uploaded them- um...found them! obvs. They were taken towards the end of london fashion week, which explains why I look so dead. Thanks Goldie for this amazeballs skirt, sorry for loosing the photos of it...my bad. It's all chiffony and beautiful and real life. So beautiful, I just made up the word 'chiffony' for it.
On a less positive note, the floods in Thailand have destroyed the Nikon Factories, so the price of the camera I've been saving for has just risen by £200 so I probably won't have it for another couple of months, and while that isn't a massive deal, it's kinda put a downer on my weekend- however, it also means more stuff will be going up on my ebay, so i'll let you know when that happens.

Dress c/o Motel

I was delighted when Motel asked me if I wanted to feature some of their stuff on here, I picked the Laura dress because lately I've found myself gravitating towards little dresses (probably because I'm lazy and they're so easy to style up) and this one ticks all my metaphorical boxes. Short? yeah, Shift? yah, interesting print? yup. The dress and quality are both excellent and I can fo sho recommend it.

On a more technology based note, what do you guys think of the new layout? Initially I had just planned to tweak the font, then I found myself moving stuff around and I finally decided it was time for a whole new look. It's a lot cleaner and easier to navigate than the old one. Messing around with my template is always a massive pain because I have an old template blogger doesn't use anymore. Lucky for me, there are a lot more techno-able people lulling around on Google. I did have an entire outfit photo, jacket and all (dudes it's December- you think I went outside sans coat? I'm down with 'no pain, no gain' but hypothermia is not on my christmas wishlist), but I deleted them by mistake- oops. I get much too trigger happy with the delete button sometimes.

Sometimes I sit down an have ponderful moments, and today I was pondering how the hell I survived without this hat. It took me many years to find a hat that actually fit my head (don't ask) and now I can't leave my own home without this on my head. I think every once in a while you come across items like that, when I was 7 it was a pink t-shirt with a giant heart on it- I like to think my style has evolved in the past 8 years though, just a tad.

My outfits lately have been kinda dull, but i've been so busy christmas shopping, revising for mutliple tests, hyping myself up for my GCSE mocks, scaring myself shitless about my GCSE mocks and pretending to revise for my GCSE mocks.

Speaking of GCSE, I should really go procrastinate.

This chunky gem of a sweater was found hiding at the back of my mothers wardrobe, sneaky. She knit it herself in 1987. It saved my skin today and kept me all toasty and warm (which is good because I'm a dumbass and I decided to wear tights and shorts in 6 degrees celcius). The day I can get my middle parting to actually align in the middle of my head will be a miracle.

With the fast onset of winter (kindly note the amount of leaves on the ground) all I feel myself wanted to wear is navy blues, black and maroon shades. I do not actually own any of the latter, so that is a wish which is granted only by the changing rooms in Topshop while forcibly removing my hands from around items as my mind chants "nikon d7000, nikon d7000". I have about as much patience as a roadrunner when it comes to saving up for stuff, so everytime I walk by a camera shop I have to stop myself from stealing that camera.

I'm joking, stealing is wrong. duh.

I have to stop myself from paying a small child to steal it for me, they're so ~~evil~~ small- no one would even notice.

This really does manage to be the most mundane outfit ever worn, but sometimes all I want to wear is black, white and a pop of color. Tactfully matched my nails to the ring sent to me by BB, it was done on purpose and I'm proud that I managed to come up with something so intellectual after sleeping for 14 hours the night before. They say the more you sleep the less tired you are, they lied.

Maybe it's just because I'm a teenager, whatever.

Anyway, I left all my homework until sunday afternoon, so I'm going to go work! (read: catch up on Gossip Girl with a tub of ice cream).

Productive is my middle name after all.

Midnight blue in Paris.

Zara dress, Office sandals, vintage bag and H&M hat and sunnies.

Oh look! I'm smiling in the last picture (kinda), why do I always look like such a party pooper in all my photos? I swear I don't have chronic bitchface.

This is the dress and hat I bought in Paris (and put on straight away in the Zara changing room, I was originally wearing the white dress seen in my photo diary a few posts down). On the second day we were just shopping along Champs Elysees, walking towards Les Jardin Tuileres and towards the center of Paris stopping for drinks and ice cream and nutella crepes all along the way!

...I really did eat quite a lot in Paris, I was impressed. We also had dinner on the first floor of the Eiffel tower, which was quite fancy (and high up...eep) but the food was simple and amazing.

On a side note, whilst being in Paris I noticed that I really want a camera that performs better in more challenging conditions so I'm saving for the Nikon D7000 and a 50mm lens, I hope I'll end up paying for half of it myself and getting the rest from my parents for christmas ...I'll keep you updated on how that pans out!

That's all from Paris, I just want to go back as soon as possible.

La Seine.

This is what I wore the first day of Paris, we walked along the Seine all day and looked around Notre Dame and in some vintage stores. The weather all weekend was amazing, but it was super hot on the first day which made me worry a bit about how these shorts would hold up but they were amazing all day and were so comfy to walk in. I wore these sandals, and my light brown pair of the same sandals to walk around the city on all 3 days in Paris and my feet came back home in one piece so I consider that a victory. We found this adorable little square that had a few cafes and a little park with benches just 5 minutes away from Notre Dame and spent an hour or so there just sitting in the sun with a drink, then we walked over the bridge to get dinner and watch the sun set over the roof tops.

I just got back from Paris a couple hours ago (the Eurostar is just such a genius idea, whoever made it up- call me, we need to have chats about what you can sort out for Manhatten) and I have fallen in love, the small cobbled streets and elegance that wafts (that could be the smell of nutella crepes) through the city has me convinced that I need to move there for a year in the future. We spent the weekend wandering through the streets just getting into the vibe of the city, stopping at cute cafes and popping into little stores every once and while. I got a dress and a hat which you will see in one of the outfit posts from Paris I have planned for later this week, I swear it is one of those hats where I'm just like- Dear hat, where have you been all my life?

We had dinner at the restaurant on the first floor of the Eiffel tower, so even though I'm terrified of heights, the food was so good I barely noticed how obscenely high up we were. It wasn't at all touristy- and I can absolutely recommend it. We went for the cliche 'Breakfast at Laduree' and ended up eating at the Laduree bar, which was really interesting and all under the sea themed, the hot chocolate was quite literally molten chocolate and I'm a girl so you say chocolate, I say yes please.

London Fashion Week is over, which I'm sad and happy about- sad because Fashion Week is always just one ball of well dressed fun, and happy because I'm so tired I think I may fall asleep at any given moment. I'm going to Paris next weekend- not for Fashion Week, but just to go back to the city because I loved it so much last time I was there and I'm hoping the atmosphere will be x10 better than before purely because it will be fashion week.

I was looking back at my baby photos for an Art project, and I realised, I was such an indie baby. Viva the 1990s, I've been rocking out to Semisonic and wearing polka dot mini button up skirts, cut up cropped band t-shirts, converse and massive circle sunnies, just generally embarrassing myself and anyone within a 10 foot radius of me- I might put some sporadic braids in my hair just for shits and giggles.

The wonderful people over at Beginning Boutique sent me this dress, and it's so perfect. It has an asymmetric cut, and massive bow on the front- need I say more? This parka from Romwe is also the perfect thickness for this indecisive English weather.

London Fashion Week favorites.

Burberry

Christopher Bailey is a man who will never cease to amaze me, this S/S '12 collection was certainly no exception. The way in which he can reshape the brand every single collection, and yet make it so it's still so impossibly Burberry just leaves me speechless. What I loved so much about this collection was Bailey's effortless attempt at adding a tribal edge to trench coats and pleated midi dresses, it's a creative oxymoron and I struggle to think of any other Designers who could pull it off.

Felder Felder

Felder Felder is a design house I've never posted about, but sweet lemon balls, I don't have enough words in my rather impressive English vocabulary to explain my love for this collection. Not only does it knock out all competition from this season, both NYFW and LFW, but it knocks out all previous SS collections I've blogged about. The colors, a subtle mix of turquoises, whites and greys, are truly stunning and now are all I want to wear for next season. This collection was also the only collection that has me excited for next summer (I hate summer dressing). The brilliantly cut dresses, with the contrasting orange lipstick and the slicked back hair, I literally struggle to breathe when I see this show.

Sass and Bide

I really loved the mix of whites, metallics, pastels and neons that decorated this seasons catwalks and mixed in so wonderfully together, but Sass and Bide perfectly combined all of the above to create a truly stunning collection. The angular shoes, and chunky jewelery finished off the designs and made me instantly think of modern day Masai. I loved every bold detail.

Q BY JIN JOO MA was absolutely my favorite collection of the evening, the cuts, shapes and clever inserts of flamingo printed silks was just breathtaking. The rest of the show really struggled to steal the light away from the opening designer in terms of elegance and minimalistic effect. The dress featured on the right was my favorite dress of the entire show, i struggled to get a photo of it from the front (note to self: arrive on time to shows so I can get better bloody seats) but it had the most stunning shape. I really look forward to seeing more from Jin Joo Ma, she is truly a budding genius.

Zerrin Acini was probably my second favorite of the evening, I don't really wear bodycon clothing purely for self conscious reasons and I prefer more interesting silhouettes, but the bright colours and geometric (almost robotic) patterns/cuts on the collection of dresses was really interesting, and would be super fun to wear out for the evening.

Obscure couture was the main show of the evening, and at first I wasn't loving it. The first few designs, although daring and interesting, lacked in the simplicity that I tend to gravitate towards. Think sweaters with swear words, hoodies with cut out neoprene neon sections and hot pants. I don't doubt that they were impressive, but they didn't excite me. Just as I set my camera down, out comes the dress you see on your left. I blinked, It was never something I would have thought I'd love- but I did. It was everything one could look for in a babydoll dress, sweet with an edge. The designs continued down this path, and paired with the massive platforms they were paired with (not seen, again, my bad) they were silhouettes of perfection.

SK was also pretty beautiful, especially the wedding dress (see right). The designs were an experiment with white/gold and different dress shapes and they all looked simple, but gorgeous. The wedding dress really stole the show for me, it was honestly one of the most breathtaking things when you saw it in real life.

There was also another designer who showcased there- but I didn't much fancy anything he did and I wanted to keep this post relatively short. Enjoy!

This is what I wore to Somerset house on Saturday for the L.2.MAE presentation, and to have a look around. These wedges have been a life saver lately, they're really just too comfy for words (in terms of heels, obviously). This dress is also like wearing velvet pajamas, and I'm a sucker for purple. anything velvet.

This is just going to be a quick post because I'm off to an Emerging Designers catwalk, more on that later!

H&M blue ring and jumper, Jigsaw bag, DIY coin ring, ROMWE skirt and Topshop 'Ambush' boots.

I've been wearing these boots so much they already look a year old, which is a good thing- I hate brand new looking boots, it just feels so wrong. Boots hold this value for me that they have to be loved and worn, unlike things like stilettos which should always look 'bang tidy' and sparkly new.

I've gotten a couple fashion related event invites that are London fashion week related- so I'll be around Sommerset house next Saturday probably- if you see me come and say hi! Don't act surprised when I hand you a business card because mine just arrived and I love them and want to give everyone I see one, I had to refrain on Oxford Street today from just throwing them in the air and dancing around them. Speaking of which, the weather in London today was so bipolar, rain then shine, rain then shine - like those small children who turn light switches on and off repeatedly. I went into the new Forever21, but didn't buy anything because I spent all my money in Danmark- and I only have a few vouchers, so I can't exactly congratulate myself for refraining. Darn.

RV trip.

We started off in Washington D.C for a day, did some sightseeing and then hopped on a train to New Jersey to go party with Snooki !

Just joking, we went to go pick up the RV and we set off on our little journey down the Appalachia Mountains, and then back to New Jersey along the coast. I can't remember the order of the states we went into, probably because I just landed back in London this morning and got like 1 hour sleep on the plane, and I'm stressed because I'm starting school again tomorrow. The photos are pretty much all labeled with the states they were taken in, if they aren't labelled they were taken in the same state as the photo above it.

The trip was amazing, I can so reccomend RV trips in the USA and I got to spend lovely quality time with the fam. I got quite a lot of stuff (Oh Forever 21, why you bankrupt me so bad) and I'm contemplating doing a vlog to show the loot - but I always chicken out because I'm such an awkward turtle.

I'll be in Wales from Thursday to Saturday, so I don't know if there will be an outfit post this week- but maybe a post on my new Topshop Ambush boots, a.k.a my ''who needs a boyfriend when I have these shoes'' shoes.

Topshop boots and jumper, PS1 bag, Asos ring and cuff, River Island skirt and Essie in Angora jumper.

I would have purchased all these items but there were 2 key things that stopped me:

1) I have no money left, apart from some vouchers.

2) It was hard enough to convince my mom to get me the boots above because they were ''totally an investment, and will be excellent school shoes, and you love me'', let alone to purchase yet another nail varnish, silver rings, a leather skirt that she does not like and a $1000 bag. I'm good people, but I'm not that good.

Which means hellz yah, I did score those Topshop Acne Pistol lookalikes which I have been so regretting not pouncing with my ninja shopping skills upon before they sold out- luckily Topshop had restocked size 39 and 40 so I showed them to the mothership and used my finely tuned charm (I threw my laptop at her and begged).

Charm (begging) saves the day once again. Oh the trials and tribulations of being 15.

Still in America, I'm gathering up some of the photos to post about the trip when I'm back home in a week.

These two lovely items arrived in London whilst I was away, so nice to come back to these amazing accessories that I can't wait to wear! Cutie Pie is a small jewelerry company, they make the most amazing bespoke/vintage jewelerry and I can seriously reccomend on both quality,beauty and delivery. Romwe, is of course amazing as always - these maroon beauties are no exception.

Anyway, I gotta go pack for America, we are off early tomorrow morning and I haven't even looked at my wardrobe yet let alone thought about what to pack.

Boohoo press day A/W ''11.

I'm wearing Aldo wedges, Romwe.com skirt and H&M sweater and sunnies.

The super super sweet ladies over at Boohoo.com invited me to come preview their A/W collection for the up and coming season- needless to say I'm glad they did because it was simply amazeballs, and they served some pretty sweet snacks there too...and um, you know me, I like food.

The above photos are a mix of my photos from the event, and some shots from their campaign. The clothes were really amazing, and ridiculously well priced. The collection was split into 6 different categories and my favorites were defo the 60's theme, and the Work wear inspired (check out all the themes here).

I have nothing but praise for the collection, quality of clothing and the event was so much fun, I met loads of lovely women who's blogs I will share when I dig out their business cards and web addresses together and unpack because I just arrived back in London this morning, and need to hastily repack for America in a couple of days for that RV trip.

Zara pants and shirt.

So you've probably heard me complaining insanely about my short haircut via every available internet network, I hate it- and let me tell you there are few things worse than a haircut you can't stand. And I understand you may not really notice it, but it's been bugging me so much, it's just a couple cm too short and it's gonna take months to grow back to the length I was comfortable with.
Anyway, swiftly moving on from my frustration, I'm heading back to London soon, but only for a few days to repack for a couple weeks of RVing down some of the East Coast of the USA, super exciting, hopefully I'll get a tan so I don't go back to school with not only short hair that makes me look like a prebuescent french boy, but also being so pale it looks like I spent my summer under a rock.
Which I may well have done because it rained so much this summer, which I don't really mind because it's...uh...atmospheric.
Aw who am I kidding, SUN, WHY YOU NO SHINE?
Supposed to be 35 degrees in the States where I'm going to be- holllaaaaa chica, tan me up.
I came out wearing these trousers, and my parents told me to take my Pajamas off.
They're not Pajamas, they're Pilazzo's. Gosh.

Vintage bag, Sonia Rykiel x H&M wedges, H&M shirt,leather shorts and big ring. Louisiana museum of art little ring.

It's a pity that it rained in Copenhagen when I took these, so most of the shots came out a bit blurry- especially the close ups of these shorts, because they're just really awesome...apart from the fact you kinda can't see them in some photos cause this was a long shirt...and these were short shorts. I really liked that the back of the shorts are longer than the front, and the back of the shirt is shorter than the front, H&M is really hitting the spot this season. I normally don't wear such work-wear like tops, because they're what I wear to school and it's a bit boring for me, but this top is such a nice twist on the classic blue cotton shirt and the dipped hem is so cute.

In a day or so, the second part of the Bloggers Wardrobe competition will begin, I'm gonna need all hands on deck to secure a place- which means I'm going to need your help just one more time, and it's going to be a little more complicated than just clicking a link unfortunatley. Rember how I was saying how I hadn't bought that much and I had money for fall clothes etc...scratch that. I pretty much spent all my money on this loot, I even got my hands on those leather shorts that everyone has their eye on from the new H&M collection (without any fights breaking out in the store).

Lost in the woods.

A little bit of a switch up from my usual type of post, but these woods are just so fun to get on a bike and cycle through, and I couldn't resist slipping on this cute dress and just dancing around.

I actually took about 200 photos...but um, 194 of those were me blinking/falling over/cursing because it hurts to step on pine cones barefoot.

I pinky lemon coated cherry promise that I will stop wearing this skirt soon, and I will not wear it in the next post either...probably.

There is a heartwarming story behind the purchase of these rather perfect little baby wedges, and it goes as such:

I walked into H&M in a Danish seaside town about an hour away from my summer house and as I was toddling around looking at the rather sorry looking Divided sections I remembered my friend's purchase from the Copenhagen H&M; the perfect pair of black baby wedges. I of course did not realize how cute they were until after we got back from town and I spent the evening offering up my internal organs if she would let me borrow them (for life). So I thought to myself in the shop, may as well have a gander to see if they stock them, my search was uneventful, I headed over to the sunglasses section to drown my sorrows. As I was walking to the exit, a single pair of these black wedges were sprawled across the floor just around the corner by the lacey clothings, I gasped, no seriously, I did. I checked the label, size 40, I checked the price, 200 Kr (about £20), I tried them on, they fit. I gasped again and sat on the floor by the entrance waiting for my friend to come back and lend me money because I'm special and forgot my wallet.

Times like those, I realize I truly do have a guardian angel (for shopping purposes only).

Went into Copenhagen...again with me amo Emma, who you may remember from a post last Christmas and her inability to cope with the technicalities of manual focus. Lusms Emma. As you can see, when reliant upon auto focus, she's a much better photographer. Potato/Potahto.

Monki dress, Aldo wedges, ? bag, Pilgrim bracelet + beetle charm, H&M sunglasses. Tan c/o the 10 minutes of danish sun that has actually happened this week.

It was inevitable that in the first week here I made it a priority to haul my ass down to a Monki store to check the sale out, having bought probably half the store last summer you could perhaps guess that I may have cried tears of joy when I heard they were coming to London later this year, Monki and Forever 21 in London? uhh, hellz yah. Anyway, I couldn't wait until it came to London so I visited the nearest one and left £32 poorer and the owner of this potato sack (see above pictures, good thing I love me some patataas.) and a black dress which is probably meant to be a top, it's um...quite short.

Was in Copenhagen briefly today to get a friends 18th birthday present, I popped into H&M and shdwgsabm everything is so gorgeous, I think I've decided where all my money, my brothers money and my parents money is gonna be spent this summer.

Gonna go chill in my potato sack and recover from waking up at 8am to go to the gym most mornings by watching tv, eating flodeboller and completely undoing all the gym work and bike rides.

There are few things I love more about my summers in Danmark than the ability to walk, cycle and run everywhere barefoot, free toesies and all. It's been raining literally since we arrived, but today the sky was completely clear and there were naked danish people all over the beach- so lovely to be back again, really. But tomorrow it's raining again so blegh, so excited for another week of that.
You can't see it but my Mormor (grandma in danish) bought me some Chanel nail polish in 'Rose Particulere', I've been wishing for it since I got it for my friends birthday back in May. It also hit me that my birthday isn't for like, another year now, lamee.
Me and a friend biked down to the beach today, I didn't dare venture into the ocean because it's literally freezing. 18 degrees, which sounds warm, it's not. Did however enjoy a Ben and Jerrys peanut butter and cookie dough ice cream oh. ma. gawd. Hello new obsession. Try it and you will understand, Ben and Jerry's, fueling world obesity.

Arrived at my summerhouse in Denmark on Monday, but the internet only just got set up today (oh the hardships of living in the wilderness). I am aware that I wore the same skirt and jacket in my last post, but seriously this skirt from the lovely romwe is heaven sent, the only problem is that sudden gusts of wind have become my new worst enemy...you can probably imagine why. I kind of half expected some peice of tat that would crumble and dissolve in my fingers when I opened the package, but it's brilliant quality, 100% cotton and all that jazz. The jacket speaks for itself really, just look at it in all it's red linen glory.

Anyway, I just got back from the gym so I'm going to pass out on my sofa now...I'm really not a fitness role model.

2nd bloggiversary.

2 years ago I sat down at my brand new Samsung R70 laptop, with 0 followers, and wrote the first post. Back then this blog had a different name and a different demeanor and over the following months it slowly evolved into a blog which focused on fashion. In 2009, I had a small red nameless Samsung digital camera and a wardrobe which consisted mainly of what other people wanted me to wear.

Today, I'm sitting at my brand new Macbook Pro, with almost 1500 followers of all different ages, nationalities and genders, and writing the 272nd post on this blog. It has a new name from when I first began, a name which I feel suits it to a T and I have my beloved ever loyal Nikon D3000, Fredster. This blog now focuses on making you smile and portraying my view of fashion, I have a wardrobe that consists totally of what I want to wear and a photographer who has taken photos in the most brutal of conditions (so, to us that would be 1mm of snow.)

2 years is a long time amigos, thanks for hanging in there because I can safely say that the journey that this blog is taking me, you and myself on, has really only just begun.

Despite getting myself grounded until I leave for Danmark on the 11th of July, I still have an extremely hectic week coming up. Last night was my birthday dinner with friends, over the weekend I have to bake enough cupcakes to satisfy my year at school, I also have to finish up buying my mum's presents for her birthday, on Monday the 4th It's my 15th Birthday and then I finish up school on the 7th of July for the summer, the same day of the blogs' second anniversary (It's like watching my child grow up people, emotional).

So this is the amazing Style stalker dress that I wore to my dinner, it's true love (sorry Toblerone chocolate, yo ass has been replaced) , it has real sweet little mirrors up the side of the bodice.

Went shopping today up in Knightsbridge, thank lemons I'm done with the GCSE's I'm doing this year (thank even more lemons I never have to read An Inspector Calls again..). Just before my birthday, me and my mum go and I point out clothes I'd like for my birthday, and try them on etc...Like a real life wishlist basically, because I'm so gosh darn picky. I thought I'd take this dress the lovely girls at Goldie London sent me (you can buy Goldie in Topshop and from Asos.com) out for a spin on the town. You know where you just wear a dress that makes you want to dance up the street Glee style? This is just like that.

Sorry for the over exposure of this jacket, but shmomg it's perfect.

Busy busy week, relative visiting, more end of year exams and an endless search to find a dress for my birthday dinner.

Old navy shirt, my old gym shorts, Superga trainers c/o Zalando.co.uk, ? bag.

I really dislike wearing flats when I go out because I spend so much money on my wedges that I really feel I need to get the best use out of them as I can, and obvs because I love them like one would love their child. These Superga trainers however, are amazeballs. Like literally, the definition of amazeballs. Under the word amazeballs in the dictionary is a picture of these shoes.

Get it, got it, good.

Also, the return of my gym shorts! I haven't worn these in gym since never, because we call it Sport in England. But I'm not English, so let's stick with Gym. They're so comfy, and since I don't really like wearing denim shorts they are the perfect alternative.

I has schoolz again on Monday, so time for homework.

H&M trend jumper and sunglasses, Urban Outfitters skirt, Aldo shoes, mulberry Bag, DIY (far right) rings.

Having never been a country fan (lies, I'm a sucker for a ho down, see post below.), me liking Taylor Swift comes as a surprise to a lot of people. Totally relating to all her lyrics now.

That, however, has no relevance to this post.

I ordered this skirt ages ago and since I don't like tight tops, I never really found anything to wear it with but I'm glad I bought this jumper (in a size 14, doh, too excited to get to the cashier to check the size.) in H&M because it's so comfy and goes with pretty much everything I own, and it reminds me of porridge. Totally digging oatmeal now.

Also, I cannot believe it's June already, this past 6 months has gone scarily fast, I can't wait for summer, it's going to be one big ball of awesome all rolled up and dipped in chocolate.

P.s My fingers look like E.T's don't they? Gross.

I literally spent an hour this morning trying to avoid wearing this dress considering I've worn it so much, but then this was the only outfit that I wanted to wear.

Oh Cos dress what are you doing to me, tut.

I had my first GCSE on Friday, a science one. I normally don't worry about science exams because I really enjoy science, and even doing the tests I don't mind, but I walked out of that exam thinking...

''....failed that.''
I'm such a ~~realist~~ optimist.

And I have to wait until August to get my results for that exam and the two other GCSE exams I'm doing this year. I only have 3 this year and I have no idea how I am going to cope with 11 more next year. I'm on half term now, so theoretically I should be revising, but in practise that has turned into me planning various shopping trips with my friends, which again is stupid because I've put pretty much all my money towards a MacBook Pro that I'm wishing for for my birthday.

It's my birthday in a month, it's time for a ho down people. Grab your donkeys.

This dress epitomizes how I want to dress this summer, no fuss. I want to look like a colorful tent. I know that shapes like these may not be the most flattering, but I really love them, they're so free and comfy when it get's hot and I can eat as much as I want without worrying about an awkward food baby. I also like how bright bold dresses mean I don't have to worrying about accessorizing, I was wearing a few rings but that's it. I'm waiting for my Sam Edelman wedges which should arrive any day soon, zomg. I think I'm going to buy the person who delivers them flowers. Only negative thing that happened was, they went on sale for half price the day after they got shipped to me.

The countdown to my birthday has begun, less than 2 months now, It honestly seems like just last week I was turning 14 and celebrating one year of ''Into the Fold'' just a few days later.

Don't worry, I'll save the emotional gushy stuff for the actual days, no need to cringe...yet.

I DIYed these rings while not revising, I clearly don't have my priorities straight just yet, but trust me on the morning of my first exam I will be wishing I hadn't made these rings instead of revising Homeostatis.

Lol joke, Homeostatis is easy peasy lemon squeasy.

Also, Eurovision tonight? Who's excited eh eh eh?

I like to watch it because it makes me feel better about my singing.

Mulberry bag, Sonia Rykiel pour H&M shoes, I made the skirt, random rings and bracelets, Monki cardigan.

This week has been so busy, posting all the items I'm selling in the shop, revising for up and coming exams, doing homework and trying to stay sane simultaneously. I'm so amazed (surprised) at how quickly the stuff in the shop is selling, I've earned almost enough to get the Sam Edelman wedges I wanted, amazeballs.

I thought I'd give the midi trend a try, so instead of forking out a lot of money for a Topshop one, I just decided to use some sweet polka dot sheer black fabric that I had around the house and sew one up, which was easy as pie. I haven't worn this cardigan in ages, which is questionable because it's so comfy. Needless to say, I love the midi trend but I need some bustiers to go with them instead of slips and tank tops, I think I'll endeavor to make another one after exams.

I feel the title carries all the humor this post needs, after all, If I were a dog I would so lick your faces now, unfortunately for you I'm not a dog.

Topshop coat, misc rings, H&M cuffs, Essie nail polish, Office boots, H&M sunnies, Mulberry bag, River Island dress.

I am not a Sunglasses person by any stretch, I own one pair of heart shaped ones, one pair of star shaped ones and a pair of ones I had when I was 4, needless to say none make it outside my desk draw. Sunglasses are either too tight, too loose, make my face look fat, make everything look orange or a variety of other annoyances so I generally steer clear. But these remind me of ice cream and therefore deserve a place on ma face. The sunnies, along with the nail polish and silver cuffs are all NYC buys and I will do a vlog later this week about the other buys and you can all laugh at my accent which has no particular home, you'll get what I mean when you hear my voice.
It's late here in England, so I should probably go to sleep.
P.S sorry for posting twice in a day, my bad but I was so impatient to post these photos.

New York City.

Hey guys, just got back this morning, here's a little slideshow I put together of all the photos, enjoy :) (turn yo' sound on to hear the music).

Day 1: Had amazing waffles at a diner by Times Square then we walked to SoHo from our hotel near times square which took about an hour and a half, we just wondered around and spent ages looking for a good Reuben sandwich and ended up in a little Deli on Broadway (the Soho end of it). Then we walked back to the hotel via 5th avenue. For dinner we wondered up to the hard rock cafe in times square and joined shortly by an enormous group of french school kids who enjoyed screaming and having french inside jokes, I still don't get why they had to be seated right in out area.

Day 2: Went back to 5th avenue with just my mum for some shopping, then crossed over into SoHo for some more shopping, had lunch at 'Le Pain Quotodien' in SoHo which was amazeballs. We also went into LF and I tried on the Lita's just for fun, so beautiful in person. I was like 'MUM TAKE A PICTURE OF ME AND THE LITA'S'. We also went into J crew, Aldo, H&M and a billion other little shops. Then met with my dad in Soho and went to some Italian restaurant in a place I can't remember (sorry...).

Day 3:We slept really late and then made our way to Dylans Candy bar, and Madison avenue around that area. Went into loads of shops and did lot's of...shopping. Also went into Barneys which I think I will do a whole post on. Stopped for lunch at some hotel that I can't remember the name of (I'm terrible I know). That was kind of our dinner too because we ate so late.

Day 4: We woke up and had breakfast at Starbucks then wondered back over to see the Easter Parade by Madison Avenue, I went into about the 100th H&M I went into in NYC because I swear their H&M's are absolutely amazing, they have all the best stock. Then we went to The Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art which had some really cool stuff, but because I'm just a big child the best part was the shop haha. Then we went to go see The Addams family on Broadway which was so hilarious but I wasn't allowed to take photos. After we went back to the hotel, changed, and went out to dinner at The Crosby Hotel in SoHo which was absolutely beautiful and the food was amazeballs too.

On the 5th day I visited family in Connecticut and then flew back in the evening, it was the best trip I've had in a long time, and if anyone wants names of the places we went just drop me an e-mail because I didn't do one single thing I regretted, I'll maybe do a vlog to show what I bought (but I always say that don't I? haha) . If your noticing a lack of funnyness in this post it's because I'm so tired I'm wearing trackpants which never ever happens. I only did one proper outfit shoot on the second day so I'll show that to you guys in the next few days.

My school starts in a week, time to get on with some homework (and blogging stuff)

This outfit is kind of India themed kind of, I got this bag in India, and this dress has a India like print on it. The shoes were probably made in India.

Anywayz, got this dress for Christmas but it's very tight fitting so it doesn't get sunlight a whole bunch, but I thought I should show chu guys because it is a beaut.

I've learnt some valuable lessons these few days.

Let's re-cap, for your sakes.

- Be careful what you wish for because you just might get it

- I still do not like Olives

- If you stare at the word 'India' and repeat it, it no longer sounds like a word.

- neither does 'Pheobe'.

I've been dying to wear this Whyred dress ever since I stole it from Urban outfitters.

Since I bagged it £100 off the original price for just £40. Are you getting emotional? It's okay, I cried too. Tears of joy because I had been searching for this dress for months. Also, you can see my polka dot nails, did themz myself. In exactly a week I will be arriving in NYC and apparently the weather is rubbish, honestly, I don't care, I can just get out my handy rain defence equipment. Sorry for raving on about New York but I think you can all understand my excitement, non?

Topshop dress, vintage cardigan, jazzy ring, Chanel 'orange fizz' nail polish.

It's been pretty chill here, and I've certainly been dressing to represent that. I generally don't wear fitting clothes because I guess in all honestly I'm a bit self consious. I prefer clean lines and a line shapes anyway so it's not a big deal. Because of the heat here I can't stand anything that clings to my body even in the slightest, hence why I'm dressed like a Danish grandmother, this outfit was indeed inspired by...my Danish grandmother.

Actually that's a lie, she would never wear anything like this because she's x100 more fashionable than me, swear down.

Also, I've been on the hunt for a pair of Grey (or those amazing baby blue) Acne atacoma's, I realise that I'm a bit behind but I really don't think my love for those shoes will ever die. I was like 11 when they came out aswell, so I couldn't exactly have gotten them then (I was a punk when I was 11, true story.) I think I've found some alternatives if my search fails, the Sam Edelman Valin (chateau Grey). I however, true to being a teen, have £8 in my bank account, which is why I have decided to open a shop when I get back to London. It will be E-bay based because I'm a lazy shit and that sounds easy. I'm putting some nice stuff up for dirt cheap and I will tell you guys when it's openz so you can shop ma shiz.

I think I may call it the 'Camilla needs shoes shop'.

Anyway, 2 weeks until my trip to New York and since I'll be heading there straight from the Caribbean that gives me two more weeks to tan like a 90 year old Italian man. Bring it sun.

Orange fizz.

Arrived safe and sound here in the Caribbean, and I promise the next post will be an outfit post I just had to show these recent gifts/ buys, and clearly boast about my shell collection.

I had been meaning to get some liquid eyeliner for eons because my make-up always melts all over my face at about 1pm in the middle of a maths lesson, and I tend to cry when i laugh really hard and I laugh at pretty much everything. Needless to say Panda eyes are cute at 7am, not after lunch.

I also saw some Essie nail polish in a beautiful coral colour during my trip to Miami in Feb, so beautiful I have regretted not buying it until I saw this Chanel polish at the Duty free section in the airport. I couldn't wait to put it on, I actually started painting my nails halfway through the flight (and did a crappo job of it). It also has such an awesome name, Orange Fizz. I want to name my child that now.

I bought both in the duty free so it's all cool.

On to the bling, you may remember the lovely Jazzy sending me some awesome hair accessories in this post, she was kind enough to send me more beautiful items. A beautiful bracelet, ring and pair of earrings. The quality of the items is amazing and the pieces are wonderfully unique, why are you still reading this? I woke up today, not because of my alarm, but because of the ridiculous amount of sun coming through my window and violating my personal space. It's okay sun, I forgive you, but next time please take note of the time and don't take advantage of the fact I've missed you all winter.

Surprisingly it stayed lovely and sunny all day so I whipped out this blazer I got in Miami, I had the collar flipped up to add a bit of edge on the feminine dress. I tried smiling in the photos too, and am fully aware that I look like a complete idiot, all the better to entertain you with. I blame my creepy smile on the lack of sleep, I have mocks next week for some GCSE's and I'm in revision robot mode. My teachers said the whole year would get D's and C's, and I intend on proving them wrong.

Some would argue that spending ages taking and editing photos would be time better spent revising (my mum), others would retort that over revising is bad for teenagers (me).

It's science people, don't argue with science.

My boots kinda look like A Wang, but they are not. They are my old riding boots, tres chic. I rediscovered them this morning and they have been on my feet all day. I also realized I quite like this little hair pin as a lapel pin on my pea coat, I'm on a roll people. This outfit is kind of like anti color blocking. I'm color blocking with gray and black, that counts no?

I have mocks for a few subjects in a couple weeks and I'm ridiculously behind in revision.

These past few weeks have been tough, I've been relying on the phrase...

The awkward moment when I can't think of a post title.

Topshop dress, coat, nailpolish and tights, Next over the knee socks, Office boots, LF and vintage necklaces, Pandora bracelet and misc rings.

I'm totally rocking the socks and tights trend that...really doesn't exist. My feet were just cold. This dress is new, and I love it but it didn't really convey nicely in most of the photos, but I just had to show you guys the split sleeves, I feel like a Jedi in this dress. I struggled to find a good location which is why these are all in different places, a bit confusing and perhaps might make you think I have teleporting skills- I'm not complaining about that.

Lately I've been dealing with a lot of people that just don't seem to get things you can't do to your friends (surely there should be a handbook for this, no?). I also kind of realised that this kind of thing doesn't just happen with teenagers, you meet people like these all throughout your life. So instead of complaining about being 14, and wishing I could just get on with my life without certain humans is all nice 'n' pretty but really the only way to cope with these kind of issues, is to learn to sort them out on my own. Learning how to deal with these kind of people is just another life skill that really should be a GCSE, (but it isn't, so instead I took Geography). You need to find the people that are worth fighting for.

And those that aren't...Slap 'em. Some people just need a good slap....I'm totally joking, how terrible would that be if I encouraged bitch slapping.

Don't slap people, it's bad. Also don't do drugs, and hit the books- they don't hit back.

So, Loyal friends, people who spend hours of their own time on others because they care, boyfriend who waits up on the phone until early hours because their girlfriend is scared, people who give all they've got and never get back, until someone creates a handbook (or until 2012) some of us are just going to have to face it; some people don't fight fair. You know what they say, fight fire with fire extinguishers.

Decided to haul my ass up to Oxford Street today, you know for school supplies.

I bought some jeans for school, and a whole bunch of stuff that isn't for school.

Standaaaard.

As can be clearly seen from the above evidence, it rained. All day. So I purchased myself this trendy piece of rain defense equipment and went about my day, with this trendy piece of rain defense equipment in hand, above head. I like to think it was my Umbrella that attracted the stares that I got on the street, but I have a sneeky feeling it may have been me walking through puddles in my new JC+LF wedges that I got in Miami.

Peeps, I get 2 days off a week, Imma wear ma wedges.

Also this skirt was the best vintage find ever, it was a bit long so I hemmed it up and I swear it feels like I'm not wearing a skirt it's that comfy. This blouse, bought in Miami, was also an epic purchase. It reminds me of Equipment in the fit and style so much. Can't afford Equipment? Haul your ass down to Old Navy and get'cho self one.

Please excuse all my awesome slang, I'm in an odd mood. Off to go eat pizza and do some maths. And you thought your sunday night sounded exiting..

Yes dear readers, it's that time of month.

No no, not that time of month, sickos.

The time of month when you are forced to read dozens of fashion week reviews, you've seen the shows and no doubt you can all come to your own conclusions on the wins and fails of fashion week. Howevs, I have decided to forcefully inflict my opinion upon you, and the commet box is for yours, because I love a good fashion week banter session. Luckily this time of month only comes twice a year.

(Note, these are just from LFW and NYFW, I may or may not do Paris at a later point because you aren't the only one's who struggle with fashion week posts)

Anyway, I'll spam you with ma faves.

Rebecca Minkoff F/W '11.

We all saw Rumi Neely model in the Minkoff presentation for her 2011 Spring collection, her first ready to wear clothing line (before she was a bag lady). We all saw Rumi because of the hundreds of thousands of bloggers out there, half follow Rumi's blog and the other half are too indie to, but secretly check it frequently anyway. You know who you are. I was catching up with the shows a few days ago, and I came across the name under 'recent'. I had seen some favorite bloggers of mine guest blog for Rebecca Minkoff and her blog 'Minkette' so I decided to take a gander at her show. I, in all honesty, had forgotten about Miss Minkoff's spring presentation but not because it lacked in prettiness, but it didn't amaze me utterly and therefore never quite made it too my desktop or this blog. So flicking through this I was in awe, I struggled to find one piece out of this collection that wouldn't have a happy home in my wardrobe. She takes a turn on her heel from her flirting feminine Spring collection and takes a right down modernism avenue, and darn she does it well. Fantastically, all the outfits are completely different but subtly share a theme: wearability. What many older designers lack is the ability to create, or wanting to produce wearable clothes that will effortlessly slip into the average lady's wardrobe and I hope that Rebecca sticks with this theme and improves it even more.

Proenza Schouler FW '11.

Alone mustard yellow, thin strappy shoes, and clashing persian rug/tetris patterns sound like something a human persian rug/tetris game would wear and generally don't appeal to my senses. So it wasn't ever going to be my favorite Proenza show, however, somehow by the crazy fashion maths all of these terrifying prosepects combined with some messy down hair look pretty gorgeous. The show started with divine color blocked evening wear, slowly transcending into grandpa casual and back into some more causal paaarty time clothes. The transition between these themes were so effortless that I didn't notice until I examined the above collage, in chronological order so you too can admire the transistions.

I'll give a second to glance at it and appreciate it...

Okay you done? You see what I mean?

Let's end this with a summary and a little behind the scenes (fake made up) conversation between the genius gentlemen behind the brand. DKNY FW '11.

DKNY, I used to ignorantly deem this brand as a work wear brand, and since suits aren't my forte I guess I never looked too hard at them, however I recieved an e-mail from a reader asking my opinion on the collection, especially that of the little venician gondola hats.

Thank you dear reader, you have opened my eyes to the beauty of not only color blocking, but also, indeed, small gondola hats (and DKNY...duh). The french inspiration radiates throughout the entire show, and Donna Karan has put a lovely twist on black and white minimalism. The addition of bright colours amidst the greys, blacks and whites make this so 'un-last season' it's beautiful. I have not much to say about this show other than it was my second favorite (so far) and leaves you second guessing every detail; as every minimalistic show should.

Charles Anastase FW '11.

I'm going to quote Alexa Chung herself on this one .

'Charles Anastase's show which was basically my dream wardrobe.'

Yes Alexa, we clearly have similar dreams. Similar to DKNY, this show left me second guessing ever little detail and I spent a good half hour just analyzing the entire show and debating whether or not to risk a jail sentence by stealing it all. My decision? Well no good criminal reveals their plans; that would be telling. After opening the show with the most beautiful red ensemble ever created by anyone living on planet earth, past and future, the general consensus must have been 'ROFLCOPTER, how can you top that, save the best for last Charles, common knowledge'. No, he didn't get better because how do you get better after that? Instead he maintained glory throughout the show, insiders have indeed confirmed that by the end of the show, the models were sliding across the runway because of the amount of drool produced by the audience. Understandably. Anastase took the show in whole new directions throughout, I had been hoping he would just send out that first outfit a couple hundred times, but he knows best and didn't. I could have made 10 collages, which would have been the entire show but I didn't want to spam you, so instead I picked the 3 outfits that made me faint and crave...chocolate.

Yes, that's how good they were.

Shorts- my brother's old gym shorts (they have been washed...several times..do not panic), COS shirt, Office gladiators and Vintage backpack.

When I asked my mum to take photos of my outfit, her response was 'What, of that outfit?' (in reference to the gym shorts I do believe). And generally it only seemed right to team my gym shorts/ diaper looking things with my new zebra gladiator's, big rings and a little leather backpack. Casually, of course. Oh and the perfect T-shirt, my first ever purchase from the (expensive) wonder that is COS.

Miami is warm, not hot, but compared to London I'm ready to whip out the swim suit and jump in the ocean. I'm totally joking, it winter and it's the Atlantic. Hellz no am I jumping in the ocean. But It is warm (see above outfit and lack of jacket/jumper/blanket).

I was contemplating posting this tomorrow on Saint Valentines day, you know, complaining about singledom and cyber-eating lot's of chocolate etc...then I remembered, I could just devote an entire post to it tomorrow instead!

It's funny because you think I'm joking..

P.S I just heard that GAGA turned up to the Grammys in an womb/egg...it's nice to know she hasn't forgotten about...conception..? No I'm confused about it too guys, it must have been hard fitting all her funky outfit in that little eggy box. I am exited for her new song though..

LF store lookbook.

In just a few days I should be arriving in Miami to stay for a week or so, um yay. When I realized that there was a LF store on Miami beach that um yay turned into a UM YAY.

I know this coat, and the bag have been making too many appearances, but it's cold and it's summer soon...ish...in 4 months...

I also know this wall has been making a few recent appearances...unfortunately it remains there 24 months a year and follows me, I know right? So weird.

I scored this dress for £12 in the Topshop sale, I may have slapped a few girls to get it.

No I'm just joking, I got there early, there were no girls to slap. It kind of reminds me of Peter Pan, that's an understatement, I'm never going to grow up and I do believe in faires, I do I do. I can also fly, but let's keep that on the hush because apparently a lot of people can't ?

Anyway I have some exciting news, starting Wednesday I will be guest blogging for Tobi.com's blog, I will be posting about their products etc...monthly, or bi-monthly, but I'll be sure to notify you guys when a new post is up there so if you so wish you may totter on over there and have a glance. I have been looking for a decent day dress recently, and although this one is quite girly the fit is just perfect.
And I have so much homework (Art (see last picture for a snippet of what GCSE Art consists of. Scissors and gold paint.) Physics coursework (quality way to spend a monday night) English public speaking (I like talking so this doesn't present such an issue for me..) and french speaking (I clearly enjoy speaking in french aswell, clearly).
I also like throwing a whole bunch of brackets into my sentences to make them illegible.

I earlier tweeted about 'the best shoe buy of 2011' and left you all hanging with what, who, why when.

A pair of JC shoes, from Office, on sale from £110 down to £40. Even my cat (Coco) was intrigued and amazed by this box of amazingness and joy.

it's a pair of Jeffrey Campbell Pixie boots, for what? £40? no, this must be a dream.

Tactful zipper close-up has confirmed that is indeed, not a dream.

Because these shoes have made me a better person, I decided to clean up my closet aswell.

I generally consider my face unphotoworthy after staying up till 3am the night before these were taken, at the time it seemed like a better idea than the morning after. It's kind of like poking a needle through the top layer of your skin and saying 'LOOK IM MAGNETIC MUM', seems like a good idea until you try again and you start bleeding. (No top layers of skin were harmed in the making of this post).

I wore these boots every time I went out during the weekend, and already they look a year old, just the way I like my boots. I also wore this jacket every time I went out. And these leggings, which have really cool layered padding on the knees which makes it okay to wear them out, also because they are extra thick. I generally have an issue with people wearing just plain leggings out of the home, if your gonna flash your VPL, at least try to distract with some padding, inserts or zippers. Gosh.

Also, 1003 followers, that's a big number that at times I have issues pronouncing, thank you all so much guys, I may see if I can arrange a giveaway soon, just fo yo.

In the last picture you can see the ring I got for christmas (on your left), and you can also see my new coat. Hello new coat, I think I love you, and you were on sale half price. I officially consider myself a bargainista (see what I did there?..no? me neither, I was hoping you would). You can't really see this Topshop dress, but it's the peterpan collared mesh insert dress that I wear like at least once a week. I know that's such a style sin but I can't exactly afford a new dress every week.

Anyway this is what I wore to a school trip I went on today, which basically consisted of sciencey people talking about sciencey stuff. The only really interesting lectures was the last one which was a hilarious lecture disproving Gillian McKeith's crazy theories on health, and how the scientist who was holding the talk's dead cat could get the same PHD she had (literally, I joke not.) and another lecture about genetics. I will always consider myself a bit of a science geek, especially in Biology, it's just so cool. Last week we dissected a sheep's eye and I was the only girl who ran to get an apron, gloves and was generally not in the corner having a fit. I purposely partnered up with the most squeemish girl so I could do everything.I did however get sheep eye juice (won't bother y'all with the scientific name auqaius something) on my face, which was slightly disgusting.

Wow that was a lot of writing, and I'm guessing you all feel slightly ill after the info on the sheep eye juice. No worries, I ran to the sink and soaked my face in water for like an hour. I looked like a prune but I was clean.

Despite the fact that my lack of posting for the past week or so may suggest that I have not been keeping blogger busy, but I have been busy. More with e-mails now that I'm putting advertising up, and accepting sponsors. The difficulty of walking on uneven surfaces, i.e sand, in shoes of any height, , is underrated.

I hope everyone had a fanasticilismo NYE, I wish I could show you the jumpsuit, and rings I was wearing in better detail because they all deserve their own little post but unfortunately these were the only two decent photos that were taken on the night. You also can't see my awesome dark purple nail polish which was carefully collaborated with my jumpsuit. You also can't see my gold eyeshadow and catflick eyeliner.

I evidently like to start 2011 with a relatively uninformative, unfanasticilismo post so that expectations are not set too high.

Well, it can only get better from here.

2010 was a weird year- understatement, But also exciting. Seeing this blog get better and bigger, and being amazed at all the people who take the time to follow and comment. The features, e.g Teen vogue, The Toronto star and the support I get from fellow bloggers. Thank you to every single one of you.

It's been a year to like no other, partially because it's the first and last 2010 ever.

However, I never really understood why people get so excited about the New Year, apparently it will bring opportunities and all that stuff, but everyday brings new opportunities and it's odd that we should all think that just because a number changes, or another year has gone by that our lives will radically change and we will 'blossom into a butterfly' (metaphorically...except for caterpillars). It's a number, a date, don't change just because of the cliche that is 'Happy New Year'. If you've got a blog, make it better, if your in a relationship, let it bloom, if your in a fight, ride it out because when one door closes a whole new bunch of door open, and not just on New Years Eve.

Anyway, here's to 2011.
